CLASSIC YACHTS FOUNDATION’S WOODEN BOAT WORKSHOP
The mission of the Classic Yachts Foundation is to protect classic yachts and boats as cultural and national heritage assets. Following our goal, we created a traditional shipwright workshop, which operates in Trzebież Marina. It was created with the technical support of all wooden boats and yachts in mind, for training and educational purposes, and to cultivate the centuries-old tradition of Polish boatbuilding.
We invite you to use the services of our workshop. We carry out a wide range of boatbuilding works necessary to make wooden yachts pleasing for the eye and safe for sailing. We will cordially welcome everyone who isn't indifferent to the fate of classic wooden yachts. The Classic Yachts Foundation provides knowledge, experience and well-equipped technical facilities!
We invite you to our boatyard in Trzebież.
SERVICES:
In our workshop, the most important thing is to respect the classic wooden structure of the vessel and to ensure the highest quality of work. Our priority is to keep the yachts as close as possible to their original condition, with simultaneous care for the safety of navigation and modern requirements in this area. With the knowledge and experience accumulated over the years of boatbuilding, we are able to assess the technical condition of wooden vessels and wooden elements on boats of other construction. We can identify problems and advise you on how to wisely and cost-efficiently care for traditional yachts. We will also answer your questions about planning and carrying out repairs in the long term.
In our shipwright workshop in Trzebież, we provide the following services:
repair and replacement of carvel, clinker and multi-diagonal planking
repair and reconstruction of frames
repair and replacement of stems, sterns and keel timbers
deckhouse and decking service
production of small elements, such as gratings, handrails, locker lids
painting and varnishing
repair and service of wooden spars: masts, booms, gaffs
Additionally, we cooperate with a yacht constructor, electrician, and a sailmaker.
